Mid-century screening

When you have some fun mid-century furniture inside the house to work with, a client who is willing to look beyond the box, and a tiny challenging alfresco with an ugly wall and fence right on top of you, it all adds up to the opportunity to experiment. The extra challenge was sun control - the screen is on an east-facing wall, so we wanted to control the super strong morning summer sun, but not shut out the light entirely. That was the thinking behind the very specific layout of the panels - and it's worked a treat! This project in Nedlands is just waiting for the finishing touches - some super funky lighting, furniture and pots in the right spots. But we're nearly there.
